Privacy Policy for DS Photo Editor SDK
Thank you for integrating DS Photo Editor SDK (the “SDK”) from Dumpling Sandwich Software Inc (“DS”). It is the policy of DS to respect your privacy, and the privacy of all the users of your applications with the SDK integrated. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) has been established to help you understand our commitment to protecting your privacy, and the steps we take to ensure it. This Policy was last modified on May 25th, 2018. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify the Policy.
Your privacy and your app users’ privacy are very important to us and we want you to know everything we do and don’t do with the information you provide. Our guiding principle is that any information we collect from you and your users will be treated with the utmost care and respect, and every effort will be made to ensure the information is kept private.
For purposes of the Policy, “SDK” refers to DS Photo Editor SDK and “Application” refers to any Android and iOS app with the SDK integrated. SDK also includes any SDK updates and upgrades that may provide to you or make available to you, or that you obtain after the date you obtain your initial copy of the SDK, to the extent that such items are not accompanied by a separate Privacy Policy.
BY INTEGRATING, USING OR ACCESSING THE SDK, YOU HEREBY ACCEPT THE POLICY WITHOUT QUALIFICATION. You have also explicitly accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy following your integration of the SDK and launch of the Application for the first time. If you do not agree to this Policy, do not use or access the SDK, and remove it from all your applications in which the SDK was integrated.
For Application Users:
No Collection of Personal Information for App Users
The SDK does NOT gather any personal information while you are using an Application with the SDK integrated.
Under no circumstances does the SDK collect, download or otherwise make copies of any images users make using our SDK, and any reference to personal information in the present Policy does not include images/photos or any personal information about app users.
Limited Gathering of Information for Statistical Purposes
Where you have integrated the SDK into your applications or downloaded other applications with the SDK integrated, the SDK may automatically collect certain statistical information to help us understand how users use the SDK, but none of this information identifies you personally. For example, the SDK may collect the total number of photos processed per day.
DS may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics (see https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en) to collect such information, and all the statistical information collected from these analytics services is non-personally identifiable information only.
For Developers:
Limited Gathering of Information for Developer Sign Up
When signing up as a developer on our website, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information that can be used to contact or identify you. We collect this information for the purpose of providing the service, communicating with you about major SDK feature update or critical bug fix, responding to your requests/inquiries, and improving our services.
Information you provide to us:

- You provide to us your personal information when you voluntarily fill in forms on our website when you sign up as a developer for the SDK. This personal information may include: first and last name, company name and email address.

- You may also share personal information with us through our contact form when you use it to contact us.
If you log in with your google account, you can review your google account connected apps as instructed here https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3118621?hl=en. You can also disconnect your google account by locating "ds photo editor" under "connected apps" section in your google account. If you log in with github account, you can review your github authorized integration here https://help.github.com/articles/reviewing-your-authorized-integrations/ and make changes as you want.
By deleting or disconnecting your SDK developer account, your existing SDK integration may stop working and your existing app users may be affected. Please be cautious and contact us if you have further questions.

Non-disclosure of Personal Information
Except as provided in the following paragraph, DS does not divulge any personal information to third parties. Moreover, the SDK does not sell any information regarding its users. Only the developers of the SDK are responsible for the management and development of the SDK, and only these individuals have access to the information collected therefrom. These developers all have been instructed to comply with the Policy.
Notwithstanding anything in the Policy to the contrary, we may share any information we have collected about you or that you have submitted: (1) in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or demands; (2) if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person; (3) if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding situations that involve abuse of the SDK infrastructure, the Internet in general, or any telecommunications service in general; (4) to a parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us (in which case we will require such entities to honour this Policy); and (5) if the SDK is acquired by or merged with another entity (in which case we will require such entity to assume our obligations under this Policy).
Risks Associated with the Internet or Wireless Data Transmission
Despite our efforts to ensure third parties will not access or obtain your personal information through the SDK, complete confidentiality and security cannot currently be guaranteed on the Internet and / or where data is transferred via wireless digital technology of any type. Communication in this manner is subject to interception, loss, or alteration. You acknowledge and agree that we cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the transmission of information in this manner and that such communications are at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
DS, and / or its respective officers, directors, owners, officials, partners, partnerships, principals, employees, affiliates and other related entities, servants, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the misuse of any information collected through the SDK by any third party, or any misuse of any information collected through the SDK not in violation of the Policy.
